#IPHsilversary Beyond The Border Project 2020

BEYOND THE BORDER is our #IPHsilversary theme. Apart from marking the 25th year of the School's commitment and services, the theme celebrates the extra miles the parents, the school and the students are willing to go together during this challenging time.

It is also a proof that dreams and achievements are not canceled, and they certainly are attainable despite of physical distancing policy.

And last but not least, it encourages students to be part of solutions in a sustainable way, creating impact to the community in which they live in.

As part of our Virtual Open House event series during the month of September 2020, BEYOND THE BORDER challenged the students of IPH, and also external students (public) from Kindergarten levels to Upper Secondary to enter the School's competition with the aim to seek creative talents and potentials towards the STEAM and Inquiry learning approach.

The project will highlight STEAM approach that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics as entry points for guiding students inquiries, dialogues and critical thinking.
IPH Schools also believes that every single child was born unique and special. Through the IPH Creative Challenge we want to embrace the powerful, wonderful, and creative side of each child. We hope that participants, together with their parents, will be able to discover, embrace and nurture their potentials in all developmental aspects.

THE CHALLENGE / COMPETITION are as follow:
1. IPH CREATIVE CHALLENGE 2020 for Kindergarten students (divided into 2 categories; KG A and KG B)
2. IPH STEAM & INNOVATION COMPETITION 2020 for Primary to Upper Secondary levels (divided into 5 categories based on the education levels)

There were more than 100 registered participants from Surabaya, Blitar, Kediri, Jakarta, even Kalimantan.
They were given 2 (two) weeks to work on their entries and are required to submit by 14 September 2020.
Those entries were then shortlisted and posted in The School's Youtube Channels for the final valuation by The School's and the guest judges and for the public voting period.
Winners were announced during the School's Youtube live streaming on 3rd October 2020.
